Landmark 44

Our 2006 Landmark 43 design has been a success story, a good looking Racer-Cruiser with true dual purpose accomodation crowned by winning the 2016 ORC World Championships and the 2018 Offshore World Championships combining IRC and ORC.   With results like those a discussion developed  about what a modern Landmark 43 would look like: lighter, with a more powerful hull shape, but retaining the simple sail plan with underdeck jib furling, comprehensive interior, and a cockpit equally friendly for family cruising as racing.  We sketched up a suggestion for a Landmark 44 that summarises what a modern production Racer-Cruiser can be: handsome, high performance, yet still a pleasure to spend time on.
