The inaugural C&C30 North American Championships were won by Dan Cheresh and his Extreme 2 team in a hotly contested event in Newport R.I..  Held as part of the 2016 New York Yacht Club Race Week at Newport presented by Rolex, Cheresh enthused: “To win the first North American Championships in Newport at the NYYC, it doesn’t get any better than this.
