They sailed consistently to score 1,3,1,1,2 for a tally of 8 points, half that of second place finisher, 60′ canting keeler Wild Joe. This means Roberts in a DK 46 has won the last three major inshore events in Asia and Australia and proven that a competitive fixed keel IRC design can beat larger canting keelers sailing in the same class. Quantum Racing’s other recent victories include the Phuket Kings Cup, the Rolex Trophy in Sydney, and the Rolex Challenge Team Racing Series as the Australian Team with Loki.
